It was already a trend in UK’s Premier League. Gambling companies closing big sponsorship deals with clubs, looking after a huge potential market. But now, that legalized online poker is being played in Italy and France and more countries are looking the same way into betting, there might be a new round of big investments from online betting operators into the the biggest sport in the world.

Biggest change can be noticed on Ligue 1, the top French league. Major teams signed with biggest poker operators in France and this should be only the beginning. Football Transfers Update – Part 1

Posted by ballabettor On August - 6 - 2010

After a rather long pause because of work reasons, I’m back now to talk about latest football transfers rumors and the done deals. This summer big transactions are still not happening as often as they used to, but many big names have accepted new challenges. Among them, we can point, Michael Ballack, that moved from Chelsea back to his home country to play for Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, Thierry Henry, that is not the same from Arsenal times, move to the weak MLS, to play for the NY Red Bulls. From Madrid, two surprising departures. Raúl and Guti, taken as sons of Madrid, went for Schalke 04 and Besiktas respectively.

Thierry Henry adventures himself at MLS.

End of European Football Leagues Season

Posted by ballabettor On May - 5 - 2010

Another season is coming to an end and there are still some thrill to be followed in the last round of most leagues.

Premier League will most likely have Chelsea as champions, since they only need a win against the weak Wigan at home. It shouldn’t be a problem. Meanwhile, Man. United waits for something bad happening there and to have a good victory at home, which would give them the title. Chelsea only loses this if some disaster happens.

In Germany, Bayern Munich goes to Berlin to face Hertha. They don’t even need a draw if Shalke 04 doesn’t beat Mainz away. This looks like another secured title, since Munich is looking really strong this season, despite the fact that they are managed by Van Gaal.

Type Bet Outcome
15 x doubles Ancona  v Crotone <2.5 @1.75
s Cittadella v AC Ascoli <2.5 @1.60
s Grosseto v Vicenza <2.5 @1.75
s Mantova v Piacenza <2.5 @1.65
s Reggina v Empoli <2.5 @1.65
s Triestina v Brescia <2.5 @1.60

How bad Premier League refs are?

Posted by ballabettor On April - 4 - 2010

Watching Man United x Chelsea yesterday, I could realize how bad the Premier League referees are. While letting the play continue when Anelka was being fouled from his back , Deco got a card for unintentionally hit a defender in the offensive side of the field.

This time, Devils were punished by the refs that are usually on their side, when Drogba was allowed to score from offside position. It was a good match to watch overall, but showed once again how much Man. United depends on Rooney.
